Adverts for the SAVEHEAT brand of energy efficient glazing systems will soon become a familiar sight for fans attending and viewing Scottish football matches. Scotland’s leading IGU manufacturer Supaseal has signed a deal for the high performance range to be promoted on LED advertising boards during games televised by Sky and the BBC.

SAVEHEAT is one of the UK's leading energy efficient glazing systems and uses the SWISSPACER V warm edge spacer bar at the top end of its range of products. Supaseal’s Managing Director Alex Gray comments: “Advertising to such a wide audience is a great way to increase awareness of our SAVEHEAT brand.”

Alex says SWISSPACER V enhances the range and allows them to sell a SAVEHEAT option to meet all of its customers’ requirements. He continues: “We introduced SWISSPACER V in Scotland four years ago when we worked with one of our customers to launch the first fully reinforced ‘A’ rated window in the country. We have complete confidence in SWISSPACER V and so do our customers; we consider it the Rolex of spacer bars. We chose SWISSPACER V because of the numerous advantages it has over other spacer bars. Not only does it offer top performance, but because it is a rigid bar with the same external dimensions as aluminium spacers, its structural integrity isn’t compromised. This makes it easy to use on the production line and we haven’t had to invest in the specialised machinery required for other spacer bars.

“The SAVEHEAT brand has grown in popularity because it helps fabricators comply with building regulations. Although a ‘C’ rating is the minimum requirement, most of our customers want to sell ‘A’ rated windows as standard.
