The University of Teacher Education Thurgau (PHTG)

The Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau (PHTG), or University of Teacher Education Thurgau, is a leading Swiss university in Kreuzlingen that provides teacher education, continuing professional development, and educational research for all school levels. It combines scientifically grounded training with strong practical experience and maintains a unique cross-border partnership with the University of Konstanz in Germany.

For the building’s insulating glass units (IGUs), Swisspacer warm-edge spacer technology was used to maximize energy efficiency by reducing heat loss at the glass edge and improving thermal insulation. This contributes to a more comfortable indoor climate, reduced condensation risk, and an enhanced learning atmosphere for students, faculty, and visitors
